Welcome to the Victoria University Golf Program website. Victoria University is committed to golf development and education and has introduced a range of programs to support students to develop as a player or coach at a national and international level. In partnership with the Brett Le Brocque Golf Academy, the program uses the Greg Norman designed Sanctuary Lakes Golf Resort to run the extensive range of practical components of the courses.
Victoria University is one of only five universities in Australia to offer both TAFE and Higher Education programs with the option to move easily between the two. We are passionate about education that enables its students to participate in a global workforce and develop careers that are not limited by geographic boundaries.
To remain entrenched in sport education at an international level, the university has committed over $23 million to new sport science laboratories and resources that will provide education, training and research opportunities second to none.
A range of flexible modes of delivery are available, to enable students to study while committing to the grueling schedules of training and competition. An extensive range of industry contacts both throughout Australia and internationally provides practical experience and opportunities for students. Successful graduates of the coaching degree currently have guaranteed job opportunities in China.
